The team stays true to the Brands roots and pays homage to the original vulcanized footwear produced by the Californian factory and storefront. Season after season, Vans designers re-imagine and re-creates archived prints grounded onto vintage design details, with contemporary upgrades in comfort. The new Vans Anaheim Authentic 44 Deck DX is expanding the continuously evolving Anaheim factory product variety with three fresh colourways.
The latest addition to the Anaheim Factory collection arrives as a three-piece selection of the brand's most iconic silhouette - the OG - the one that started it all - the Authentic 44 Deck DX! These babies are inspired by Vans' rich history of designing different types of boat shoes from 1966 to the mid-1990s. The low-top, lace-up style borrows details from the original Style #44 while offering contemporary comfort with an upgraded Ortholight® sock liner.

Throwback elements include the original style number, higher glossed foxing tape, original drill lining weight, and cotton laces. The blue bottom sole has thin rubber slits that are useful for providing traction in wet conditions and references the design purpose from a time when the deck shoe was considered a boat shoe. The Authentic 44 Deck DX will be available in three colourways: Red, White, and a special Navy Anchors print inspired by a custom fabric once used by Vans in the early 1970s!
